Three chapters of the Eternal Recurrence. We meet "Her" first in the Himalayas. In a vast time very long ago. In another turn of the wheel, we are with the Cathars in the Pyrenees. Ghostly dim lights and ghostly apparitions haunt us in the XIII Century. Finally, in the Andes, the last Chapter, we are in the here and now and we meet "Her", Allouine. The Princess Papan. Go in knowing what you are getting yourself into, this is not knowledge to be taken lightly

While seeing a story recently on exorcism and looking into it (after receiving the baptism of speaking in tongues in Jesus Christ and knowing more about Him and the spiritual world), I came under fear in getting into this field where Satan does not want me to go because he knows I could be an actual threat to him. Not knowing what to do because I was woefully lacking in the workings of the spiritual realm, I decided to find some religious books on demonology and came across a book called He Came to Set the Captives Free about a Satanist who was freed from witchcraft in Jesus. As soon as I got on the page of this particular book I felt all types of bad, an oppressive fear that didn't want me to stay on there and read it. I was confused whether it was Jesus or the enemy so I prayed and the Lord reminded me that a kingdom divided against itself could not stand and I saw that the text was pro-Jesus and knowing more is what Jesus wants so we can be equipped against the enemy, and once I understood that the oppressive spirit left (remember we are not immune to attack, but we have an unstoppable Weapon against the enemy). And literally the first thing the book said in the preface was “This will be one of the hardest books you will ever try to read. Satan does not want you to read this material!” What we must understand though is that perfect love (of God) has no fear, so we must never fear the enemy because the Lord is there for us as our Savior and Protector (To which nothing can stand against), only we can give the enemy ground by allowing him to because we are protected by the New Covenant by the Most High God!

A must read book for any Christian, especially Deliverance Ministers!

I kept hearing about this book from friends of mine, so I broke down and purchased it! I'm soooo glad I did! This book will help your walk with God, and will help you identify the enemy's tactics with much more discernment. This book will give you solid understanding on the methods and effects of witchcraft and its operation, especially in America (as opposed to Africa or Australia, or anywhere else where witches try to hide).

I used the knowledge in this book to cast out many demons who were wrecking the life of friends and people in my church. We must study and show our selves approved, and this testimony given in this book will help you tremendously in your quest to be a better minister. Even if you're not into being a minister of Jesus Christ (and you should be), this book manages to be fast moving and entertaining on top of all of the knowledge it provides.

A must read for a growing Christian!!!

This was my first book on spiritual warfare. I borrowed my mother in law's copy. I had to buy my own copy to use as a reference. This book is a must read for those who need a guidebook on what to do. She opens your eyes to the schemes and shrewdness of the devil. I enjoyed reading the situations they were in since you can be prepared for what happens when you are doing the work of the true and living God. Her book explains the works of the devil and what he does to hinders Christians and the church. We need to be equipped in order to fight. We need to take the time to understand the schemes the devil uses.

The Importance of Nalanda to Buddhism cannot be overestimated

I have visited Nalanda several times over the last 30 years and seen ongoing archaeological work, albeit slowly, because of the sheer size of Nalanda Buddhist University and the universal lack of funding for this sort of work. For at least 600 years, thousands of students studied mathematics, medicine, logic, literature, linguistics not to speak of Buddhism. A foreign student in the 7th century reported 1510 teachers at the university. Mahayana Buddhism took shape here under such scholars as Chandrakirti, Nagarjuna, Naropa, Dinnaga, Dharmakirti and Tantric Buddhism under Padmasambhava. Chinese monks such as Xuangzang studied here and returned with knowledge and manuscripts to China. The library at Nalanda is estimated to have held hundreds of thousands of texts. Some sutras exist today because they were returned in Sanskrit to China, translated into Chinese, later lost in Sanskrit and then translated back from Chinese. Certainly Nalanda is the source of the Mahayana Buddhism of China.

The end of the useful life of the University and Monastery in the 13th century at the hands of invaders is secure. I have a photo of a friend with the palm of his hand near the base of wall cradling a few grains of burned rice. However, while it coincides with the vanishing of Buddhism in India, the cause of the two is not the same and is hotly debated.

Nalanda is located near the ancient city of Rajgrih, now modern Rajgir. It is the location of Vulture Peak where the Buddha meditated frequently and the “Bamboo Grove” the first “forest monastery” donated by King Bimbasara for the Buddha and his followers to pass the rainy season.

Finally, we introduce the Cloud of security and the virtualisation of secure elements (smartcard) that should definitely transform how to secure the Internet.

Not a comprehensive book on Software Networks. Sparse on ETSI NFV and SDN. Was looking for a more compressive book like the information contained in Fundamentals of 5G Mobile Networks by Jonathan Rodriquez.

Two thumbs up from a Catholic hypochondriac.

Before I get on with the meaty part of the review, it's worth mentioning that my first review was rejected by Amazon for violating their profanity policy... because it mentioned the title of the book. This is... really dumb, to say the least. So in order to comply with this ridiculousness, I will use the abbreviation F.I. whenever I want to say, well, the title of the book. Jeez.

But moving on.

I'll get my one beef with this book out of the way: John C. Parkin seems to have never gotten over his adolescent rebellion when it comes to Christianity. Objecting to Christianity is fine; some people have made a career out of it. But his sniping seems a tad bitter.

Everything else about this book is incredible.

I'm a hypochondriac, which in real life is nowhere near as zany as Bill Murray makes it seem in What About Bob? In real life, hypochondria - or health anxiety, if you prefer - is sort of a living death, since your own death is what you contemplate every waking moment.

If you think hypochondriacs are hard to be around, I promise it's way harder being one.

Since I had a miscarriage last year, my health anxiety has gotten pretty bad. A few weeks ago, sobbing into my husband's shirt in a hospital parking lot after yet another panicked visit to the ER (I'll spare you the suspense: my diagnosis was "panic attack") I said, "I just want to be normal." And never in my life have I meant words more.

That night, I stopped praying for healing, and started praying for "something - anything - that will help."

I had stumbled across this book months ago in a bookstore in Mississippi, but didn't buy it because I was too po'. Somehow it stuck in my craw, though, and a couple days after my last ER visit I randomly decided to buy it on Amazon. I devoured it in two sittings.

Saying "it changed my life" may seem trite, but it's true. Even sitting here I feel like a different person.

The Bible tells me 364 times to not be afraid. It tells me to observe the lilies of the field and the birds of the sky and be as carefree as they are. But it doesn't tell me how - at least not in language that works for me.

The F.I. Way is, basically, Taoism in modern language. You don't have to be any particular religion, or any particular non-religion, for this to work for you. Anybody of any faith can understand the value of accepting that life ends, that everything ends, that all is temporary, and that when you let life just flow through you, everything starts to make sense. Once you realize the impermanence of all things and - most importantly - let go of it, healing begins.

My favorite tool in the book - and there are lots of good ones - is the mantra "I am safe no matter what I'm feeling." Because it's true. Whatever I am going through, I will get to the other side of it, even if it's the other side of my own death. In those moments, knowing that all is temporary becomes a relief.

The F.I. out-breath is my second favorite tool. I use it many times a day. It's the reason I'm sitting here, after a frustrating day at work, feeling hopeful and good and relaxed instead of worried and knotted and dreadful.

I can't recommend this book enough for anyone who has fear, worry, or stress in their life - which is to say, everyone.

And if you're struggling with an anxiety disorder, do yourself perhaps the most important favor of your life and buy this book right now.

Good book on letting go...

LOL! The title alone captured my attention when I first heard about it awhile back; I knew what it would (in general) be about too - "letting go". And it is. I was already familiar with the concept of letting go, but I got a kick out of the fact that somebody wrote a book about it and put it this way - "F**k It".

From the book: "Say F**k It and life will be so grateful it will shower you with blessings." Yep - it will.

I was going through a bad spell (terribly ill relative on my hands) and was getting myself all worked up and it was physically affecting me....and then I remembered that I had this book at home (but had yet to read it then), and I just started mumbling to myself - "F**k It!" I said that to any and every fear-based thought that came up that day, and by the time I got home I was cool as a cucumber, (the relative did just fine while I was at work too), and I stayed that way for the next 3 days too! I guess I got it all out of my system.

By "letting go" you also 'get out of your own way' too, and that's important. Just go with the flow and stop swimming upstream. Stop fighting 'what is'. Accept that "it is what it is" and then watch it eventually change. If you find yourself moving back into worry or fear again, just say "F**k It" (and mean it.).

For those that may still have a hard time letting go or saying "F**k It" and meaning it, I'd suggest you consider reading "The Sedona Method" by Hale Dwoskin.

If I was going to write any caveat about this book it is that one copy is not enough. This is my absolute favorite go-to book when I'm feeling blue, need some insight, looking for some perspective, or just need to get the f*** out of my own way. I studied Buddhism for years both in the States and in Asia. As much as I enjoyed Buddhism, the perspective of "F*** It" cuts right through the BS in Buddhism (admittedly there is a little bit of BS in the dogma) and gets right to the heart of the lessons on how to let go of all the crap that holds you down and allow joy to naturally bubble up where there appears that there can be none.

Every time I buy this book for someone they always say the same thing, "This is a great f***ing book. Thank you. It's so funny and insightful!"
