Read Book but Don't Hire Company to Fight Your Ticket!

These people (the author & his company) screwed me over and took my money without doing what they promised. They had every excuse in the book, once they got my money, why they weren't liable. I ended up with a warrant because they got my check to the court a day late and had to take care of the court mess all myself. I ended up having to pay them about the same as the fine ($400 each), and they would not budge an inch. Very frustrating, he is not a lawyer nor is anybody that works there, they are just paper pushers, but probably know how to fight a ticket.

i would give this company no stars if possible. Steven F. Miller is a scam artist and all the information to fight your ticket is available for free online. Look on Yelp.com for descriptions of his company's scam tactics. this is a very low person with no morals. his staff is incompetent and unethical. SCAM SCAM SCAM. beware.

GREAT traffic ticket self help guide

I have a pretty good driving record and I get a lot of discounts on my insurance because of it so I was scared you-know-what-less when I got my first speeding ticket. Not sure what to do I went to the bookstore and started looking for self help books on fighting tickets. Most books were overpriced so I left to compare prices online. I found this book and the price seemed reasonable. I decided to go with this book because it was created by a reputable company that has been around a long time and after checking out their website I saw they have an A+ rating with the BBB and their customers reviews are really positive and encouraging. I decided to give their book a try and boy was i glad. It has a lot of good useful information in plain english without a lot of legal terms that I don't understand and it actually was not boring to read. I'm confident to say anyone in my situation should def get this book its a good one.

Great book; steamy love scenes!

I loved this book and by that I mean the six volumes it took to complete it. I'm glad it was on kindle unlimited our I don't think I would have started it. I'm glad I did, it had all the right amount of mystery, BDSM and a happy ever after I love in a book. I wanted to reach in and slap the mother and wanna be girl friend and was glad when he put them in their place. I'm sorry it ended and would have liked to have seen the writers take it a little further into the future..all in all an excellent read!

YAY!!! What an ending!! This is Vol. 6 in the Serving HIM series and it picks right up where Vol. 5 left off. I felt as though no time had passed and I had just turned a page. The last book Aleena didn't trust Dominic enough when she saw the photos of him and Penelope and, oh boy, does she pay for that! Trust is very important!! Dominic has finally allowed Aleena to sleep in his bed all night! I was pretty happy about that!! Penelope......what can I say about her, she needs to just go away!!! This story involves the PI helping Dominic to find his biological mother. And thank goodness, Dominic finally admits how much he loves Aleena! This was a great series!!!

Very good introductory text

The first time I took Abstract Algebra. I used Herstein's text the most cryptic text I have yet to use. I read the book cover to cover several times and still lacked a firm grasp on the material. Nicholson's book takes the time to present many examples and to thoroughly cover each topic. The examples of groups most frequently discussed are all placed at the beginning allowing the reader to have many examples to go on. While the book is not a terse reference it is a great introduction to the world of abstract algebra. It gives the undergraduate a chance to make that large step to this higher level of abstraction. However, the exercises are a little easy and the counterside to the above is that it is quite long.

Hard to read

As a new student that is new to proofs and Abstract algebra, I found this book hard to read and hard to follow. The language itself is very difficult and spares a lot of words.
Granted, if you are somewhat familiar with abstract algebra and the terminology the book might not be as difficult. However, I had to buy two other books in order to understand the material.

Although it's loaded with information and even covers the basic information, my other books expressed it in clearer language and walked me thorough the beginning proofs, much better than this book did.

If you are brand new to the subject, I don't recommend using this book.

In addition the glue/binding in the middle of the book starts to tear, so groups of pages will become lose if you are not careful. It happened to my book, as well as the books of my class mates even though we bought it from different sources.

About the Author
Robert N. Lussier is a professor of management at Springfield College. He has been teaching management courses for more than 25 years. He has a national and international reputation for his methods for applying concepts and developing skills that can be used both personally and professionally. A prolific writer, Dr. Lussier has more than 400 publications to his credit, including Management Fundamentals 6e (Sage), Human Relations 8e (McGraw-Hill), Leadership 6e (South Western/Cengage), and others. He has also published in top tier academic journals including Journal of Management Education, Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship, and Journal of Business Strategy. Lussier holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Salem State College, master's degrees in business and education from Suffolk University, and a doctorate in management from the University of New Haven. He served as founding director of Israel Programs and has taught courses in Israel.

An excellent book - couldn't put it down

A gem of a book, filled with practical tips and lots and lots of ways to improve your publishing track record. I read it over a weekend, and simply couldn't put it down. I had a pencil with me at all times to scribble ideas and notes in the margins relevant to my own publishing career - and then I wrote up 6 pages of personal 'crib notes' to guide me putting the ideas into action. This is a perfect book for an early career researcher or doctoral student wanting to get their publishing record on track; a how-to book for academics written by an 'everyman' scholar who has been there and done it like most of us are trying to do. Lussier's advice and tips for getting published are very doable and very straight forward. For example:
(1) Develop a publishing pipeline to keep track of what you want to write, have written/will submit, have submitted, R&R status, in-press, and so on. Have papers at every stage of the pipeline to keep you motivated, i.e. quick pubs to keep you motivated while you wait for the A journal pubs.
(2) Use a three step approach to increase publication numbers - submit first to a local/regional conference, then an international conference, then a journal.
(3) If offered an R&R, always accept it ('a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush' type approach). And turn it around quickly.
(4) Cite a journal editor's article in your paper if you can.
(5) When an article is published, write to some of the high profile authors you cited in that paper and attach your paper. It helps to build your network and possibly authoring collaborations.
I could go on and on ... but you get the picture. Although this book is perfect for new starters in academia, it will also have application for those who have been around for a long time and need new ideas. A must-have book. Buy it for your library, give it as a gift to a graduating research student or as a thank you gift to a Professor/mentor. Well worth every cent.
